AMS External Office

Stefanie and Blake at the AMS External Office are always looking for friendly and enthusiastic students who want to take action on issues like Tuition, Student Financial Assistance, Transit & the U-Pass, Housing, the Olympics, Childcare, and University Governance.

Volunteer activities range from putting up posters around campus to independent research to surveying people on transit service to events planning & promotion.

For more volunteer opportunities, check out AMS Connect, one of several services offered to all students by the Alma Mater Society. Like all the services, it is student-run and aims to empower all students during our ongoing university experiences.

AMS Connect offers volunteer + internship placements throughout the campus and lower mainland community and provides workshops, fairs, and one-on-one consultations to meet all of your involvement needs.
