7:00-9:30pm, Room 1900 (Segal Room), SFU Harbour Centre, 515 West Hastings Street Vancouver.

Think election debates seem like a bit of a carnival? Now’s your chance to see how right you are!

The Vancouver Public Space Network and the SFU City Program are proud to present a brand new type of all-candidates debate: The Last Candidate Standing.

Unlike traditional exchanges that feature three or four contestants, this is designed to include every Mayoral and Council candidate running in the 2008 Vancouver election. You’ll hear from party affiliates and independents alike, and watch the candidates as they take turns in the spotlight fielding questions by a team of local media experts.

In between rounds, local musicians and performance artists will take the stage with a series of creative interludes. It’ll be and evening of politics and theatre… all rolled into one!

We hope you will be able to join us for this exciting (and dare we say historic) event. The first truly all-candidates debate.

Admission is free but reservations are required. Call 778-782-5100 or email cstudies@sfu.ca.

The event is being co-sponsored by the Vancouver Public Space Network (VPSN) and the SFU City Program. Additional support provided by Get Your Vote On.
